Linear Static &
Dynamic
An accelerometer is an instrument for
measuring acceleration, detecting and measuring vibrations, or
for
measuring acceleration due to gravity
(inclination). Accelerometers can be
used to measure vibration
on
vehicles, machines,
buildings, process control systems and safety installations. They can
also be used to
measure seismic activity, inclination, machine vibration, dynamic distance and speed
with or without
the influence of gravity.
Rieker’s line of accelerometers are
available in single, dual, or tri axial packages, with a variety of
frequencies and G ranges to suit many different test and control
applications. Our accelerometer sensors are small capacitive spring mass
based with integrated electronics, which do not require external amplifiers
for a very high resistance to extreme acceleration overloads and
shocks. These accelerometers are available with analog DC, digital
pulse-width modulated or frequency- modulated outputs.
Accelerometer descriptions and technical
specifications are available below.
