Application Developer

This position will report to the Director of IT. Candidate will be responsible for the development and support of several Windows-based and Web-based, custom software applications, for a growing manufacturing company located in Aston, PA. Systems are mission critical.


Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, some out of hours support may be required.

Candidate must possess strong computer programming skills, problem solving skills and strong work ethic. Candidate will interact with end users and must possess strong interpersonal and people skills.

  • Full-time position, hours: Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Specific Programming Technical Skills

  • Java Script

  • C#.net

  • SQL data bases (MS SQL Server a plus)

  • PHP, or other script languages a plus

Specific Work duties

  • Develop Requirements

  • Create and maintain technical design specifications

  • Develop new or revised application code to spec

  • Integrate custom software with existing software

  • Develop & Execute Test Plans

  • Deploy and support custom software

  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot and Debug issues related to custom applications

  • Clearly communicate and timely follow up on tasks and problem-solving with all levels of employees

Qualifications and Background

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, OR

  • 3-5 years Applications Development Experience

Soldering Assembly Technician (Aston, PA)

We are a local manufacturing company seeking a hands-on experienced solderer to be a viable member of our team. Strong, clear communication, effective multi-tasking, and the ability and willingness to jump in where needed are a must.

  • Full-time position, hours: Monday through Friday 7 am 3:30 pm

  • Medical insurance including prescription, dental, and vision.

  • 401K, paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and bonus time.


 Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand company's requirements and specifications.

  • Process, fabricate units per work orders/schematic in a timely manner according to the production schedule/needs.



  • Surface Mount and Through-Hole soldering experience on small components

  • Preferably IPC certified

  • Cable Assembly work a plus

  • Ability to meet goals

  • Detail oriented person

  • Must be a team player

  • Strong, clear communication skills

  • Dependable and able to consistently work the schedule hired for with minimum outages

  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Assembles to blueprint and/or work instructions.

  • Maintains component records and logs.

  • Responsible for organizing and keeping in good condition all tooling and fixtures in the assembly area.

  • Mechanical/Electrical assembly experiences a plus.

  • Soldering SMT, ISO, or Mil-Std, and Quality Control experience a plus!
